Redonda is an uninhabited Caribbean island which is a dependency of Saint John, Antigua and Barbuda, [2] in the Leeward Islands, West Indies.The island is about 1.6 kilometres (1 mi) long, 0.5 kilometres (0.3 mi) wide, and is 296 metres (971 ft) high at its highest point.
The village is on a peninsula, and was named for the five rock islands adjacent in Five Island Harbour. [1] It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) southwest of the nation's capital city St. John's, and connected to it by a single road. The village is surrounded by 12 of the 365 beaches on Antigua. [2]
Dickenson Bay beach, Antigua. Dickenson Bay is located on the northwestern coast in Antigua, close to the Cedar Grove. While Dickenson Bay is not the most secluded beach in Antigua, its white beaches and tranquil seas attract many visitors.
