Galway Airport (IATA: GWY, ICAO: EICM) is an airport located at Carnmore, 4 NM (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) east of Galway City, County Galway, Ireland, managed by Corrib Airport Limited. Its last scheduled passenger traffic was on 31 October 2011, when Aer Arann ceased commercial operations at the airport.
There are also smaller regional airports at Donegal, Kerry, Galway, Sligo and Waterford. The latter three, as of July 2019, do not have any scheduled flights. Many airlines serve Ireland with Aer Lingus, Aer Lingus Regional and Ryanair having a significant presence at Irish airports.
Flights to Beauvais-Tillé and Frankfurt-Hahn have since ended. In 2013, Ryanair launched a weekly summer route to Málaga on Thursdays. Aer Lingus Regional, which took over the Birmingham route operating a daily service using ATR 72s ended service on 26 October. Flybe began four-times-weekly flights on the route on 27 October.
