Medical Lake is a small city in Spokane County, eastern Washington, United States. At the 2020 census , the population was 4,874. The city is the site of a psychiatric hospital, Eastern State Hospital , and of Fairchild Air Force Base , two major employers.

The Burke–Gilman Trail is a rail trail in King County, Washington. The 20-mile (32 km) multi-use recreational trail is part of the King County Regional Trail System and occupies an abandoned Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway (SLS&E) corridor. A portion of the Burke–Gilman trail is managed by the City of Seattle.
