U.S. Highway 10 (US 10) is a major divided highway for almost all of its length in the U.S. state of Minnesota.The route runs through the central portion of the state, following generally the alignment of the former Northern Pacific Railway (now BNSF Railway) and connects the cities of Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, Wadena, Little Falls, St. Cloud, Anoka, Saint Paul, and Cottage Grove.
For part of its route (8 miles), it runs together with U.S. Highway 10 in Coon Rapids and Anoka. The two routes are concurrent from Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids to Ferry Street in Anoka. Highway 47 also runs together with State Highway 18 for 9 miles in Mille Lacs and Aitkin counties around the northeast side of Mille Lacs Lake.
The first section is located entirely in Coon Rapids and runs from County Road 1 (Coon Rapids Boulevard) to County Road 11 (Northdale Boulevard.) [1] The second section runs from Main Street (County 14) to the Washington County line where it turns into Washington County Road 2. [8] County Road 18 is 21.7 miles (34.9 km) in length. [4]
