    I also think Ichthys should be renamed Ichthys symbol. Ichthys simply means "fish", and need have nothing to do with the symbol. A look round the web shows the symbol is usually referred to as being a symbol or even explicitly as the "Ichthys symbol", and not usually referenced in an unqualified way as "the Ichthys".
