My idea was to change the lead to: Pringles is a brand of stackable potato-based extruded snack. Invented by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the US during 1968, they were marketed as "Pringle's Newfangled Potato Chips". The brand was sold in 2012 to Kellogg's, and are now marketed under Once you pop you can't stop.
