The Scottish Golf Show is a Scottish television series aired on Scottish TV and Grampian TV (now both together as STV). The Scottish Golf Show was narrated by Iain Anderson and produced, directed & edited by Scott Brown. The series was first broadcast in 2005, and was re-aired in 2006, and again in May 2009 on STV.
The Scottish Young Professional Championship is a golf tournament for young golfers that has been played since 1958. From its founding until 2002 it was known as the Scottish Assistants' Championship. Initially played over 36 holes it has generally been played over 72 since 1970.

The Scottish Amateur is the national amateur match play golf championship of Scotland.It has been played since 1922 and is organised by the Scottish Golf Union.It is a "closed" event with entry currently restricted to those who were either born in Scotland, have Scottish parentage, or are permanently resident in Scotland for at least the previous five years.

Before the Boys Home Internationals was founded, an annual match had been played between England and Scotland since 1923. It was also played immediately before, and generally at the same venue, as the Boys Amateur Championship.
