Curtiss–Wright Aeronautical University was a flight school in Chicago, Illinois founded by aircraft manufacturer Curtiss-Wright.Open from 1929 until 1953, the university was the first accredited flight school in the Midwest which accepted black students and instructors.

Classes are now held in the new McDonnell-Douglas Hall building on the Frost Campus in mid-town St. Louis. Flight training remained at St. Louis Downtown Airport. The move to the Frost campus allowed the curriculum to be expanded and Masters programs to be added. The college also provides many science classes for the main campus.
Other ATP schools in the Dallas area can be found at McKinney National Airport (KTKI) and Addison Airport (KADS). [13] In February 2022, ATP opened its 70th flight training center at Allegheny County Airport (AGC) in Pennsylvania.
