In 2001, his varsity pair earned a silver medal at the IRA Championship Regatta. In 2004, 2005, and 2008 his pair won gold at the IRA Championship Regatta.

[2] He was born in Syracuse, New York. He attended Trinity College of the United States of America. He is the author of the best selling rowing book The Compleat Dr. Rowing. [3]
