Bahía Wulaia, on the east shore of the Murray canal. Bahia Wulaia is a bay on the western shore of Isla Navarino along the Murray Channel in extreme southern Chile. [1] The island and adjacent strait are part of the commune of Cabo de Hornos in the Antártica Chilena Province, which is part of the Magallanes and Antartica Chilena Region.
The channel separates the larger main island of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego from various smaller islands including the islands of Picton, Lennox and Nueva; Navarino; Hoste; Londonderry; and Stewart. The channel's eastern area forms part of the border between Chile and Argentina and the western area is entirely within Chile.
Río Guanaco is a hamlet (Spanish: caserío) on Navarino Island in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in southern Chile. It is part of the Cabo de Hornos commune in Antártica Chilena Province . [ 2 ]

The Yahgan continued to suffer high fatalities due to infectious disease. The land was poor and they were being encroached on by gold diggers. In 1907 the mission decided to move to the Douglas Bay area on the Navarino Island. The station in Ushuaia was closed and the remaining materials were sent to Douglas Bay.
