Uzbekfilm (Uzbek: Oʻzbekfilm, Ўзбекфильм; Russian: Узбекфильм) is the largest and oldest film studio in Uzbekistan. It was established on July 1, 1925. [1] [2] The company was initially called Sharq Yulduzi (Eastern Star). In 1936, it was renamed to Uzbekfilm.

Aysanem Yusupova was born on January 2, 1997, in Nukus. After graduating from school in 2012, Yusupova studied at the Law Faculty of Nukus State University. [3] After graduating from the university in 2016–2020, she entered the Department of Drama, Theater and Cinematic Acting of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.

Umid Iskandarov started his professional career as an actor in 2005. Iskandarov made his first movie with "Tuzoq" in 2008 and has starred in many movies since then.

Babek (Azerbaijani: Babək) is a 1979 Azerbaijani historical drama film directed by Eldar Guliyev. A joint production between Azerbaijanfilm and Mosfilm, Babek is the most expensive film produced in Azerbaijan SSR. [1] It stars Rasim Balayev in the title role with Hasanagha Turabov playing Abbasid general Afshin.
