spark plug choice for boost? I'm fixing to start tuning on my turbo motor, I currently have an autolight racing plug ar-472 which is the coldest plug they make in it. But it doesn't seem to like them very well, its already killed a set of plugs (2-4hrs run time) it was on the rich side at first but I've about got it leaned out enough now.

The NGK Iridium plugs for the XP 800R PTEK sleds are the BR9ECSIX (Stock #5438) with the 0.8mm (0.028") gap. The 6014 Stock number is the BR9ECSIX-5 with a 0.5mm (0.019") gap. These plugs are for the earlier 800 motors.

Now changing the plugs was super easy. Torque wrench fit just fine. Could check the plug index just fine too. The plugs looked dirty but they were working. They were BRP sourced plugs bought from Ingles and the indexing was perfect when torqued 20 ft lbs. The index changed noticeably the last few pounds of torque.
When my plugs started going, my car did the exact same thing. Misfiring under a load between 1,000 and 2,000RPM. When I pulled them out nat 82K miles, they were still the original plugs, and the gap was .080 I replaced them with AC Delco Iridium plugs (made by NGK), and I've been very happy with them.
