1986 Ford Bronco build. I recently purchased a 1986 ford bronco off FB Market place. It grabbed my attention by the amount of rust that was not on it, It's not rust free but it's about as close as I can afford to get. It did not run and was last on the road in 2019, so it was a little bit of a mystery purchase, but I couldn't resist.

New Soft Top Thread 2024. I am in need of a soft top and the softopper brand is now $1300 vs $575 for the JBG one. That's a massive price difference. $1300 is a nonstarter to me and the JBG one claims to need a lot less drilling than it used to and is made of a better material than previously. Has anyone bought the JBG top since the update in ...

AbandonedBronco. On the topic of the tunnel cover, the ZF5 is a tall transmission. When I put the ZF5 into my '85, I originally tried to use the tunnel cover from an '81 Bronco, which already had a manual transmission. The ZF5 hit the cover and wouldn't let it sit flat. This is why the later year cover is much taller.

Most of the time, that is the easiest and safest place to puncture the firewall. There are no parts on either side of that plate that would be affected by drilling through there. Find a grommet, then drill a hole that fits the grommet. After running the wires through the grommet, take some "liquid electrical tape" and seal the hole to prevent ...

I run the 75W-140 in my Front and Rear Diffs and all has been well.
