The 2023 NCAA Division III Football Championship Game, more commonly referred to as the 2023 Stagg Bowl or Stagg Bowl L, was a postseason college football game scheduled played on December 15, 2023, at Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. It determined a national champion in NCAA Division III for the 2023 season.
The team plays its home games at James J. Grady '50, M '61 Field at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex or Grady Field for short in Cortland, New York. The Red Dragons are led by Curt Fitzpatrick, who has served as head coach since 2020. [2] The Red Dragons won their first NCAA Division III national championship in 2023.
The game was initially set for Turner Stadium in Humble, Texas, [2] but was later moved to Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.
