A live version of the song, from the band's appearance at the 1991 Reading Festival in Reading, England on August 23, 1991, appeared on the live video The Year Punk Broke, released in 1992. Footage from this performance of the song, including Cobain jumping into the drum set at the end, later appeared in the music video for "Lithium" in 1992.

Chad Channing (born January 31, 1967) is an American musician who is best known as the drummer of the rock band Nirvana from 1988 to 1990, during which time they recorded and released their debut album Bleach; he also appears on "Polly" in the follow-up album Nevermind.
The song then goes onto the third verse followed by a final chorus which is treated as the outro with the words, "I'm on a plain/I can't complain" being repeated multiple times until all instruments and main vocals start fading out until the last thing that's heard is the repeating, wordless vocal harmony from the chorus.
