The Inglis Bridge, Monmouth, Wales crosses the River Monnow linking Vauxhall Fields and the suburb of Osbaston. Designed by, and named after, Charles Inglis, the bridge was constructed in 1931 and refurbished in 1988. It is a Mark II model of an Inglis bridge, and the only known example in Britain of such a bridge still in public use.

After juniors, Inglis joined the Hollie Nicol rink, playing third. Inglis and Nicol added Kirsten Wall as skip in 2010, bumping Inglis to second on the team, which also added Jill Brothers at lead. The rink played in the 2010 Sobeys Slam that season, finishing with a 3-3 record. In 2012 Wall left the rink, and was replaced as skip by Brothers.

Inglis is best known for his work on football history and stadiums, [ 5 ] and as editor of the Played in Britain series for English Heritage (later Historic England ).
