Eat for first half--party/gift exchange for second half 3) A number of non-adventurous eaters, so ethnic/spicy/anything remotely exotic food not an option. 4) Need vegetarian options 5) Either December 17 or 18 6) Modest, but not bargain basement cost--not a good year to blow out the budget Ideas? Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. I spied on my way to the office Christmas party a "coming soon" sign on Hurstbourne just south of Shelbyville Road (near Momma's Mustard, Pickles, & BBQ in what used to be PPG Paint building) for Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. It's part of a chain, closest of which right now is Lexington.

Hi, we need some ideas of where to have our British and Proud FB group Christmas Party. We are leaning towards Mollys Baxter because they will let us have a side room and we can bring our own food, or they will do a buffet for $20 per head. The room is slightly on the small side though. There couild be anywhere from 20 - 40 + of us.

Combine beans, broth, garlic and half the onions in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are soft (2 hours or more), adding more water or broth as necessary. In a skillet, sauté remaining onions in oil until tender. Add chilies and seasonings and mix thoroughly. Add to bean mixture.
