URW++ produced a version of Helvetica called Nimbus Sans L in 1987, and it was eventually released under the GPL and AFPL (as Type 1 font for Ghostscript) in 1996. Roboto is the default system font on Android, and since 2013, other Google services such as Google Play, YouTube, Google Maps, [5] Google Images, and more. In 2017, Roboto was used on the LCD countdown clocks of the New York City Subway's B Division lines. Roboto Bold is the default font in Unreal Engine 4, and in Kodi. [6]
The other fonts in this list (e.g. Cambria, Calibri), come with Microsoft Word for Mac, but are not installed system-wide on newer (post-2011) versions. Regardless, since not all Macs have Word, you can't count on those fonts being installed. Segoe UI is not available on Mac through legitimate means. None of these fonts are available on iOS.
