David Bruce Cassidy [1] (April 12, 1950 – November 21, 2017) was an American actor and musician. He was best known for his role as Keith Partridge, the son of Shirley Partridge (played by his real-life stepmother, actress Shirley Jones ), in the 1970s musical-sitcom The Partridge Family .
In 2020, Cassidy returned to the stage with his one-man show The Magic of a Midnight Sky. [2] Cassidy is the eldest son of Academy Award–winning actress Shirley Jones and Tony Award-winning actor Jack Cassidy. [3] He is the younger half-brother of David Cassidy. [4]
