CHMP-FM (98.5 MHz) is a French language talk radio station serving the Greater Montreal Area and licensed to the off-Island suburb of Longueuil.Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcasts with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts as a Class C1 station, using an omnidirectional antenna atop Mount Royal, at 298.9 metres (981') in height above average terrain (HAAT).

[1] The station was the first successful commercial classical music station in Montreal, following the failure of CJRM-FM in 1968 [2] and decades of reluctance since then by the CRTC to allow such a station to go on the air. Previous Rythme FM logo, used from 2006 (ca.) to August 2009. The tri-oval shape, a part of Rythme FM's logo since its 1999 introduction, was used until 2018.. The brand "Rythme FM" was introduced in January 1999 at CFGL-FM in the Montreal market, and the network was created after Cogeco received new licences in other markets in 2002 and 2003.
In 2024, the Trent Out Loud podcast was added. The show features hip-hop and rnb from the 90s and 2000s. It mixes in entertainment news. It can be heard on weekdays 11 am to 12 midday. The station is currently operated by RRR Media, which Phil Richards owns. In January of 2025, the Trent Out Loud show is no longer airing. It continues as a podcast.
