Patchogue (/ ˈ p æ tʃ ɒ ɡ / PATCH-og) is a village in Suffolk County, New York. The population was 12,408 at the time of the 2020 census. The Incorporated Village of Patchogue is an incorporated community in the town of Brookhaven, on the south shore of Long Island, adjoining the Great South Bay.
The Swan River is in Suffolk County on Long Island, New York. It flows into Swan Lake [1] from the north, and then south out of the lake into the mouth of Patchogue Bay, which then becomes the Great South Bay. Originally, the headwaters reached as far north as Medford, New York, near the vicinity of the Long Island Rail Road's Medford station. [2]
