Aurora, Elgin & Fox River Electric #5 at the Fox River Trolley Museum's Castlemuir Depot on October 5th, 2024. On Sunday, July 8th, 2018, two boys, aged 11 and 13 broke into the museum's car barn and inflicted almost $150,000 worth of damage on the 8 antique pieces of history stored inside.

An 1854 station from the C.B.&Q.R.R. on the east side was moved across the river to its present location in 1973, as was a caboose. Both are used as exhibits, and the museum has been expanded since.
