Pflugerville (/ ˈ f l uː ɡ ər v ɪ l / FLOO-gər-vil) is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States, with a small portion in Williamson County. The population was 65,191 at the 2020 census . Pflugerville is a suburb of Austin and part of the Austin–Round Rock– Metropolitan Statistical Area .
In 2007, the Pflugerville High School football team reached the Texas 5A State Championship game but lost to Katy High School from Katy, Texas. The TV Series Friday Night Lights was originally filmed using the stadium, and the team took the name of Dillon Panthers after Pflugerville Panthers and used many of the mascot items for the show.

Pflugerville Independent School District (PFISD) is a public school district founded in 1902 and is based in Pflugerville, Texas ().The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock. It includes Houston suburbs such as Katy, Cypress, Tomball, and Prairie View, cities in east-central Texas including Brenham and Columbus, and northern Austin and some suburbs including Pflugerville, Bastrop, Manor, and Elgin. The current representative is Michael McCaul. For most of the time from 1903 to 2005, the 10th was centered on Austin.
