Grumpy Old Men is a 1993 American romantic comedy film directed by Donald Petrie, written by Mark Steven Johnson, and starring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Ann-Margret, Burgess Meredith, Daryl Hannah, Kevin Pollak, Ossie Davis, Buck Henry and Christopher McDonald. It was followed by the sequel Grumpier Old Men.
Kevin Elliot Pollak (born October 30, 1957) is an American actor, comedian, impressionist and podcast host. He has appeared in over 90 films; his roles include Sam Weinberg in Rob Reiner's A Few Good Men, Jacob Goldman in Grumpy Old Men and its sequel Grumpier Old Men; Todd Hockney in The Usual Suspects, Phillip Green in Martin Scorsese's Casino, and Bobby Chicago in End of Days.
Johnson began his career writing the Warner Bros. films Grumpy Old Men and its sequel Grumpier Old Men. [1] Johnson wrote and directed two comic book based films, Daredevil and Ghost Rider, [3] as well as the film Simon Birch. [2] Johnson also wrote the story for the film Christopher Robin and directed the Netflix film Love, Guaranteed.
