Welch is a town in northern Craig County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 619 at the 2010 census, an increase of 3.7 percent over the figure of 597 recorded in 2000 . The Vinita Public School system is a mix of five schools over the Vinita, Oklahoma area in Craig County, northeast of Tulsa. It includes almost all of the Vinita city limits, excluding some portions of highway. Additionally, Big Cabin is in the district. Much of the district is in Craig County, [1] and it extends into Mayes County. [2]
