Race Rock Light is a lighthouse on Race Rock Reef, a dangerous set of rocks on Long Island Sound southwest of Fishers Island, New York and the site of many shipwrecks. Shabbona Lake is a man-made lake created in 1975 by damming the (Big) Indian Creek, a tributary of the Fox River. Its name derives from the Potawatomi leader Shabbona. [2]
