Mountville is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,022 at the 2020 census , [ 3 ] an increase over the figure of 2,802 tabulated in 2010. [ 4 ] The original Charles Chips potato chip factory was located here.
The PA 1 designation was gone by 1929, [13] but several branches from east to west—PA 101, PA 201, PA 301, PA 401, PA 501, and PA 601—had been assigned by then. (PA 701 was assigned later as a branch of PA 101.) [citation needed]
