How to fix subjects and dividers not syncing to Mac. Issue: My subjects/dividers weren't syncing to my Mac even though my notes updated in the All Notes section. Solution: Create a new Notability account with a new email address. This brought up my existing notes, and now my dividers/subjects sync instantly to my Mac.
Also, if you have any recommendations of apps for Windows 11 with said functions, I'd appreciate them a lot! No, AFAIK Notability is iOS and macOS only at the moment. On Windows, I'd go with OneNote. It is excellent at what it does and the stylus support is pretty good.
Persistent freezing and crashing issues on iPad. Over the past few weeks, I've been using Notability to record lectures while annotating PDFs on my first generation 12.9" iPad Pro. When using the app, every 30 minutes or so, the app will be entirely unresponsive for anywhere from 20-60 seconds. This is extremely frustrating, and I have missed ...
ClydeBruckmans. • 3 yr. ago. I'm sorry this happened to you. Notability only shows the notes that are associated with the current iCloud account. The only other really comparable app feature wise is Good Note, and maybe One Note as well but I haven't look at that for awhile. The big difference between Good Note and Notability is Notability's audio recording/playback feature. Most of the other differences are small or come down to learning how to do the same thing in a different way.
Lag when writing. I’ve been using notability for over a year with no issues. All of a sudden it seems as if overnight the writing became extremely laggy, with a delay after every 2/3 pen strokes I write with the apple pen. At first I thought it was just me or my iPad, but it has happened to most all of my classmates also using notability.
This is a particularly bad situation with notes that are many pages long, as the scroll bar becomes tiny too. Notability has been my go-to app on my phone for many years, but when working on the computer this issue makes things really cumbersome. I've had great difficulty over the past couple of years trying to bring this issue to their ...
