The Nutley High School Raiders [3] compete in the Super Essex Conference, which is comprised of public and private high schools in Essex County and was established following a reorganization of sports leagues in Northern New Jersey by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA). The Super Essex Conference (SEC) is a high school athletic conference located in Essex County, New Jersey.The conference was formed in 2009 by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association and was a result of a larger realignment that swept through North Jersey.
Located at 59 South Spring Garden Avenue, the school was constructed in 1917 and expanded in 1927. Laurie LaGuardia, principal [14] Washington School [17] with 484 students in grades K-6. Washington was constructed in 1911 and expanded in 1927. It is the second oldest elementary school still in use in Nutley. It is located at 155 Washington Avenue.
