Kim Fuller has been writing for television for over 40 years but is largely known for writing the television and film aspects of Simon Fuller's artists. Fuller has written for a number of successful television comedy programmes including Not The Nine O'Clock News, on which he first met Mel Smith; Carrott's Lib, starring Jasper Carrott; The Lenny Henry Show; [1] Spitting Image; and Red Dwarf.
All seven members of the group star as fictionalised versions of themselves. It was created and partially written by Kim Fuller (brother of the group's manager), who also created and wrote the Spice Girls' 1997 film Spice World. Renamed as S Club 7 in Miami, the show broadcast in the United States on Fox Family from 1999 until 2002. [2]
It is written by Kim Fuller and, from series 2, Paul Alexander with additional dialogue by Nick Doody, Matt Kirshen and Paul Dornan. It was first broadcast on 7 September 2007, at 11.30am, and a second series began on Friday 2 January 2009 in the same time slot. Series 3 debuted on Wednesday 14 July 2010. Series 4 began its broadcast in 2012.
