The Nike Oregon Project was a group created by the American corporation Nike, established in Beaverton, Oregon in 2001. [1] The team folded on October 10, 2019 after an investigation resulted in a four-year ban of longtime coach Alberto Salazar .
The "O" logo was designed by Nike in 1998. Nike, Inc. was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports. The firm was co-founded by Bill Bowerman and Phillip Knight.
