Minot Public Schools logo. Minot Public Schools (MPS) is a system of publicly funded K-12 schools in Minot, North Dakota. There are thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, and one alternative high school. Three schools (two elementary & one middle school) are located on Minot AFB, fifteen miles north.

The school's mascot is a magician and the varsity teams compete against the largest high schools in the state in Class A (Class AAA for football, see North Dakota High School Activities Association). Minot is known as the "Magic City" because of its rapid development in 1886, after the arrival of the Great Northern railroad .

The Gallatin County High School was a public high school in Bozeman, Montana. It was built Romanesque/Classical Revival style in 1902, expanded in c. 1914, and gained an Art Deco addition in 1936–37. Gallatin High School was placed in the northwest portion of Bozeman, where the majority of new development is located. The school's mascot was picked via a district-wide election process open to all students of the district. Other contenders included the Cutthroats and the Lizards. The school's name was picked through a similar process.
