The 2024–25 Adelaide 36ers season is the 44th season of the franchise in the National Basketball League (NBL). On 22 February 2024, Scott Ninnis signed a two-year contract as head coach. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] However, on 12 August 2024, the 36ers replaced Ninnis with Mike Wells .
As the Adelaide Bite, the franchise twice lost the championship series to the Perth Heat (2010–11 and 2014–15) and was bested by the Brisbane Bandits once (2015–16). As the Adelaide Giants, the team was defeated by the Melbourne Aces (2019–20). This ended when they beat the Perth Heat (2022–23), ending the 43-year old drought.
