  5. T-Bar or Chest-Supported Rows? - Bodybuilding.com Forums

    forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=114364401

My idea of a t-bar does NOT have a chest support. A chest supported row takes most of the low and mid-back out of the exercise. Working only upper back and rear delts is good stabilization for a bench. The part of a row that (IMO) does the most for a dead is the cheat part of a heavy row that gets the bar moving.

So I don't know what's wrong. I get a weird pain in my lower back when I do it. As if I'm bending over too much and it's straining. Both with BB, or single bar row.
