The Labette Cardinals are the sports teams of Labette Community College located in Parsons, Kansas. They participate the NJCAA and in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference . [ 1 ]
Labette Community College has academic and athletic extracurricular activities. Some of the programs available currently are: Men's and Women's basketball, volleyball, baseball. softball, and wrestling. LCC won the NJCAA national basketball title in 1960, and were the national men's wrestling champions in 2005, 2012 and 2013.

The 2021–22 Lafayette Leopards men's basketball team represented Lafayette College in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Rand Chappell (born April 4, 1963) is an American college basketball coach. He is the head coach at Johnson County Community College.Chappell has marked a career head coaching record of 402-213, led six teams to the NCAA Division II National Tournaments, and won more than 20 games in each season for 12 consecutive years.
