New Hope is a town in Collin County, Texas, United States. The population was 661 at the 2020 census. New Hope is a class B town and has an aldermanic form of government, under Texas general law. The mayor and five aldermen meet once a month on the last Tuesday of the month for town council meetings.
Constructed during 1938 and 1939, the City Hall complex is located on Bagby Street on the western side of Downtown Houston. It is surrounded by the Houston Skyline District and is similar in design to dozens of other city halls built in the southwest United States during the same time period. [ 2 ]
