This is a feature of C# 9.0. Similar to in scripting languages, top-level statements removes the ceremony of having to declare the Program class with a Main method. Instead, statements can be written directly in one specific file, and that file will be the entry point of the program. Code in other files will still have to be defined in classes.
The C# collections framework consists of classes from the System.Collections and the System.Collections.Generic namespaces with several useful interfaces, abstract classes, and data structures. [40] NET 3.5 added System.Linq namespace that contains various extension methods for querying collections, such as Aggregate , All , Average , Distinct ...

A C# namespace provides the same level of code isolation as a Java package or a C++ namespace, with very similar rules and features to a package. Namespaces can be imported with the "using" syntax. Namespaces can be imported with the "using" syntax.
Although namespaces are used extensively in recent C++ code, most older code does not use this facility because it did not exist in early versions of the language. For example, the entire C++ Standard Library is defined within namespace std , but before standardization many components were originally in the global namespace.
In many contexts, including C++, C# and Java, an object is created via special syntax like new typename(). In C++, that provides manual memory management, an object is destroyed via the delete keyword. In C# and Java, with no explicit destruction syntax, the garbage collector destroys unused objects automatically and non-deterministically.
Some troops leave the battlefield injured. Others return from war with mental wounds. Yet many of the 2 million Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from a condition the Defense Department refuses to acknowledge: Moral injury.
X# lacks a namespace hierarchy, so the current namespace changes with each directive until the file ends. Variables or constants in different namespaces can have the same name, as the namespace is prefixed to the member's name in the assembly output. Namespaces cannot reference each other except through low-level operations.
