Probably Vatra 2 or equivalent. Apron on the lathe, use Vatra 2 if it also lubes the way. If like mine, does not lube the ways, ISO 46 or 68. Quill on the mill ISO 46, thicker oils will cause it to bind and create other problems. ISO 46 for the spindle bearings on Bridgeport unless the bearings were pre-greased, which I don't recommend.

    (1) Move my mill whenever I want with a minimum of fuss, and (2) Have a place to store the pallet jack. MY pallet jack is 21 inches out to out on the blades which are 36 inches long and it lifts 5000lbs off the floor 8 inches. The jack collapsed needs 3 inches to get under the mill. No problem with that. So there sits the jack under the mill.

    2. The X axis travel varies between table lengths and if it has a "Bridgeport" brand, X axis drive or other drives. I believe mills installed with the Bridgeport drive, has a lead screw and travel that is 3" shorter; table length the same. 3.All J heads (series 1) are the same casting. Just different drive housings mounted on top.
