Donald Joseph Ecker (born March 9, 1986) is an American professional baseball coach. He is the offensive coordinator for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for California State University, Long Beach and Lewis–Clark State College. The Texas Rangers selected Ecker in the 22nd round of the 2007 MLB draft.
Ragsdale was promoted to the major league staff, as major league field coordinator, on November 11, 2019. [ 9 ] [ 10 ] Ragsdale was named the Rangers first base coach on July 2, 2020. [ 11 ] Ragsdale was moved to third base coach on August 15, 2022, after manager Chris Woodward was fired and Tony Beasley was elevated to interim manager. [ 12 ]
Tiegs joined the Texas Rangers organization in July 2019, serving as the pitching coach for the AZL Rangers. He spent the 2021 season as the Hickory Crawdads pitching coach. [6] Tiegs spent the 2022 through 2024 seasons as the Rangers minor league pitching coordinator. In November 2024, Tiegs was named the Texas Rangers bullpen coach. [7]
