The event currently carries a purse of $1,000,000.

It is an ungraded stakes race for 3-year-olds with a purse of $140,000 run over the turf at 1 + 1 ⁄ 16 miles. Prior to 2014, the race was held at Calder Race Course in Miami Gardens, Florida.
