Maries County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri.As of the 2020 census, its population was 8,432. [1] Its county seat is Vienna. [2] The county was organized March 2, 1855, and named for the Maries River and Little Maries River.
Vienna is located in central Maries County at the intersection of US Route 63 and Missouri Route 42. The city lies between the Gasconade River two miles to the east and the Maries River about two miles to the west. Rolla is 25 miles (40 km) to the southeast via US 63.
