A whitespace character is a character data element that represents white space when text is rendered for display by a computer.. For example, a space character (U+0020 SPACE, ASCII 32) represents blank space such as a word divider in a Western script.
The Braille pattern dots-0 ( ⠀), also called a blank Braille pattern, is a 6-dot or 8-dot braille cell with no dots raised. It is represented by the Unicode code point U+2800, and in Braille ASCII with a space.
The zero-width space (), abbreviated ZWSP, is a non-printing character used in computerized typesetting to indicate where the word boundaries are, without actually displaying a visible space in the rendered text.
A second common application of non-breaking spaces is in plain text file formats such as SGML, HTML, TeX and LaTeX, whose rendering engines are programmed to treat sequences of whitespace characters (space, newline, tab, form feed, etc.) as if they were a single character (but this behavior can be overridden).
The picture shows how the code looks when it is rendered correctly, and in every row the correct and incorrect pictures should be different. On a system which not configured to display the Unicode correctly, the correct display and the incorrect one may look the same, or either of them may be significantly different from the corresponding picture.
Leave blank or write bottom for the line to be below the label {{{label}}}, prefixing word, default word is page, or label= to have no prefix. The prefix is omitted by default for a left-floated break. Note that label can also be used for non-standard alternate labelling of page separation. Formatting options {{{border-width}}}, default is 1 px
2.2 Don't include citation numbers when selecting text (e.g. to copy and paste) 2.3 Keep reference superscript and subscript text from breaking the line-spacing 2.4 Prevent wrapping
An ornamental symbol used as section break does not have a generally accepted name. Such a typographic device can be referred to as a dinkus, a space break symbol, a paragraph separator, a paragraph divider, a horizontal divider, a thought break, or as an instance of filigree or flourish.
