The Staffordshire County League was an English football competition based in the county of Staffordshire.It existed from at least 1957 [1] until 2005, when it merged with the Midland League to form the new Staffordshire County Senior League, with the former County League teams forming Divisions One and Two of the new league, at levels 12 and 13 of the English football league system.

The league's history goes back to 1973, and it has acted as a feeder league to the Birmingham and District Premier League since 1999. Currently, at the end of each season, the Premier Division winners enter into the play offs against the winners of the Shropshire, Warickshire and Worcestershire County Leagues for a place in the BDCPL 2nd division.
The club was established in 1946. In 1987, they joined the Northern Premier League Division One in its first season, and at their height were one of the best non-league teams in North Staffordshire rivalling Leek Town for the top position in the pyramid. Their one major honour came in 1986 when they won the Staffordshire Senior Cup.
