with an open deal or unlimited undo, I can win >90% of 4-suit double-deck spider. closed-deal no-undo drops my success down to about 20%, but I haven't refined my strategy much (it's tedious to play a full game). I once read somewhere that almost all spider deals are winnable, but I don't remember where. I'll try to track it down.
