The show was a social and political commentary delivered humorously to reach the masses. It was written and created by Anwar Maqsood. Lahore Se Aagey (Urdu: لاہور سے آگے; transl. Next to Lahore) is a 2016 Pakistani road-comedy romantic film directed by Wajahat Rauf, written by Yasir Hussain and Produced by Wajahat Rauf, Asfand Faruok, Salman Iqbal, and Jarjees Seja.
The show was divided into six segments. Chit Chat Couch Session had Yasir in conversation with the guests. Chai Ya Thanda challenged celebrities with interesting riddles and they were given brain boosters if they got stuck. The Puppet segment had a puppet character who liked to share jokes which were silly but he thought they were funny.
