Reviews on Hiniker C plow. I am looking at the above plow for use on condo's and other areas where a lot of small drive back-dragging is done. We are an all Western fleet of about 20 plows with the wide out being our newest fav but they aren't so great for back-dragging. Reviews and experience with them would be great!

I've never used the Hiniker, and while I tend to agree dealer support is important, with a snow plow I think Boss is the way to go for 2 other reasons: 1. The Boss name is worth more at resale of the truck and/or plow, 2.

I have both a western and a hiniker and for me they are the same I have no preference between the two. The only difference is western is a chain lift and hiniker is a direct lift. I notice no difference except the fact that the chain lift bounces around more than the direct lift. 1999 Chevy silverado 2500.

The v-plows are used for small parking lots, with not a lot of places to put snow. So the scoop setting works good for moving snow to where their is room. The thing i can't understand is one v plow is on a 97 F 350 dump body, and the other is on a 97 F 350 pick up.
Take a set of jumper cables and hook them to the positive (red wire) post and negative (black wire) post on the motor. Then connect the jumper cables directly to the battery. If the motor runs, the motor is good. If the motor is good, be sure the power cable (two fat wires) of the plow is plugged in.
