Guilford Quakers. The Guilford Quakers are the athletic teams that represent Guilford College, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States in NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports. The Quakers compete as members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Altogether, Guilford sponsors 18 sports: nine each for men and women, respectively.
Charles Glenn "Chick" Doak (October 7, 1884 – April 21, 1956) coached baseball at North Carolina State University from 1924 to 1939 where he accumulated 145 wins, 131 losses, 6 ties.
