The 2007 U.S. Masters Championship was organized by the Henderson County Chess Club and Chief Organizer Kevin Hyde at the Quality Inn & Suites Hotel in Hendersonville, NC. It was open to players who have been rated 2200+, foreign FIDE-rated players, and juniors rated 2000+. It was held alongside the N.C. Sub-Masters for those with lower ratings.
