Bernard John Manning (13 August 1930 – 18 June 2007) was an English comedian and nightclub owner. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] He gained a high profile on British television during the 1970s, appearing on shows such as The Comedians and The Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club .

The music video to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' single "Black Star Dancing" depicts the band performing on the show. "Black Star Dancing" was released on 2 May 2019 [3] followed by the music video for the single on 7 May 2019. [4] The video is 70's inspired and features Gallagher performing on stage at a social club. The band are introduced to the stage by late comedian Bernard Manning.
