Susan "Suzy" Miller (married names Susan Hunt, Susan Burton; born c.1949 [1]) is a British model, dancer, and choreographer. [2] She has acted in several films such as Twenty Nine (1969) and The Wild Geese (1978). Miller gained notoriety for being married to Formula 1 race driver James Hunt (in 1974), and leaving him for Richard Burton in 1976. [2]
Hunt met his first wife, Suzy Miller, in 1974 in Spain. A few weeks after their initial meeting, he proposed. The couple married on 18 October 1974 at the Brompton Oratory in Knightsbridge. By the end of 1975, Suzy had left Hunt for the actor Richard Burton. In 1982, Hunt moved to Wimbledon. [69]
Burton was born Richard Walter Jenkins Jr. on 10 November 1925 in a house at 2 Dan-y-bont in Pontrhydyfen, Glamorgan, Wales. [11] [12] He was the twelfth of thirteen children born into the Welsh-speaking family of Richard Walter Jenkins Sr. (5 March 1876– 25 March 1957), [13] and Edith Maude Jenkins (née Thomas; 28 January 1883 - 31 October 1927).

Burton ended his marriage to first wife Sybil Williams in 1963, while Taylor would split from Eddie Fisher, who had left his first wife, Debbie Reynolds, for Taylor, in March 1964.
